About

‘Travelling Irishness in the Long Nineteenth Century’ is a two-day international, interdisciplinary symposium that takes place on 28-29 August 2014 at the University of Limerick. Organised by Dr. Marguérite Corporaal (Radboud University, Nijmegen) and Dr. Christina Morin (University of Limerick), the symposium is open to all and promises to be an exciting and rich exploration of all aspects of Irish travel, migration, emigration, and diaspora over the course of the long nineteenth century. Here you can find the CFP, registration info, provisional and finalised programmes, and all other relevant information you might need in preparation for the symposium itself. We look forward to welcoming you all to Limerick in August!

If you have any questions or comments, please send them to christina.morinATul.ie.

The conference organisers gratefully acknowledge the support of UL’s School of Languages, Literature, Culture and Communication and International Education Division, as well as the Hunt Museum.
